વડાપ્રધાન મોદીએ 35 પાકની ખાસ જાતોને લોન્ચ કરી છે. સરકારનું કહેવું છે કે આ જાતોને ભારતીય કૃષિ સંશોધન પરિષદ (ICAR) દ્વારા ઘણાં રિસર્ચ બાદ વિકસાવવામાં આવી છે.આ દ્વારા જળવાયુ પરિવર્તન અને કુપોષણની અસરોને ઓછી કરી શકાશે. મોદી વીડિયો કોન્ફરન્સિંગ દ્વારા આ કાર્યક્રમમાં જોડાયા હતા. વડાપ્રધાન મોદીએ ખેડૂતો સાથે પણ વાત કરી છે.
