રાજ્યમાં આગામી પાંચ દિવસ ભારે વરસાદ થવાની પણ આગાહી કરવામાં આવી છે. ભારેથી અતિભારે વરસાદની આગાહી વચ્ચે અમદાવાદમાં આજે વહેલી સવારે 6 વાગ્યાથી કડાકાભડાકા અને ઠંડા પવન સાથે ભારે વરસાદ પડ્યો હતો. વહેલી સવારે માત્ર પશ્ચિમ વિસ્તારમાં અડધો કલાક વરસાદ પડ્યો હતો, જેમાં ચાંદખેડામાં 1 ઇંચ, ગોતા અને સોલામાં અડધો ઇંચ જેટલો વરસાદ પડ્યો હતો.

રાજ્યમાં છેલ્લા 24 કલાકમાં 190 તાલુકાઓમાં વરસાદ થયો છે. જેમાં પોરબંદર, અમદાવાદ, જૂનાગઢ, સાબકાંઠા જિલ્લામાં સૌથી વધુ વરસાદ ખાબક્યો છે. જ્યારે આજે સવારે 6 વાગ્યાથી આઠ વાગ્યા સુધીમાં 30 તાલુકાઓમાં મેઘમહેર થઈ છે. જેમાં સૌથી વધુ ડાંગ, સોજિત્રા, વડોદરા, તારાપુર, આંકલાવ અને ધોળકામાં 10 મિમી કરતાં વધુ વરસાદ ખાબક્યો છે. રાજ્યમાં સિઝનનો અત્યાર સુધીમાં 28.24 ઈંચ વરસાદ થયો છે. જેમાં સૌથી વધુ વરસાદ દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં થયો છે. જ્યારે કચ્છ અને ઉત્તરગુજરાતના કેટલાક વિસ્તારો હજી કોરા ધાકોર છે.

સાઇક્લોનિક સર્ક્યુલેશનને પગલે આજે રાજકોટ, મોરબી, સુરેન્દ્રનગર, અમરેલી, પાટણ, મહેસાણામાં અતિભારે વરસાદ માટેનું ઓરેન્જ એલર્ટ, જ્યારે કચ્છ, જામનગર, દેવભૂમિ દ્વારકા, જૂનાગઢ, ગીર- સોમનાથ, પોરબંદર, બોટાદ, ભાવનગર, અમદાવાદ, ગાંધીનગર, આણંદ, બનાસકાંઠા, સાબરકાંઠા, દાહોદ, સુરત, વલસાડ, નવસારી, ડાંગ, તાપી, છોટાઉદેપુરમાં ભારે વરસાદ માટેનું યલો એલર્ટ જાહેર કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ ઉપરાંત બુધવારે વલસાડ, દમણ, દાદરા અને નગર-હવેલીમાં અતિભારે-નર્મદા, ભરૂચ, સુરત, ડાંગ, તાપી, નવસારી, અમદાવાદ, આણંદ, પંચમહાલ, દાહોદ, વડોદરામાં ભારે જ્યારે ગુરુવારે રાજકોટમાં અતિભારે અને વલસાડ, દમણ, જૂનાગઢ, અમરેલી, ભાવનગરમાં ભારે વરસાદ પડી શકે છે.
