ભાગવત 28 ઓગસ્ટના રોજ સૂરત અને 29 ઓગસ્ટના રોજ અમદાવાદમાં સંઘ, ભાજપા, વિહિપ, બજરંગ દળ સહિત અન્ય અનેક હિન્દુવાદી સંગઠનના નેતાઓની મુલાકાત કરશે. આ દરમિયાન સંઘના સર કાર્યવાહ દત્તાત્રેય હોસબોલે સહિત સંઘના અનેક વધુ નેતા પણ ગુજરાત પહોંચી શકે છે. ભાગવતની આ યાત્રાને ગુજરાત વિધાનસભા ચૂંટણીની તૈયારીઓ સાથે જોડીને જોવામાં આવી રહી છે.
આગામી વર્ષે ગુજરાતમાં વિધાનસભાની ચૂંટણી પહેલા રાજ્ય ભાજપે પણ સંગઠનને મજબૂત બનાવ્યું છે. ગુજરાતના સંગઠનના મહામંત્રી તરીકે હાલમાં જ રત્નાકરનેનિયુક્ત કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. રત્નાકર પહેલા ભીખુભાઈ દલસાણિયા લગભગ એક દાયકા સુધી આ પદ સંભાળી રહ્યા હતા, પરંતુ સંસ્થાના મહામંત્રીમાં અચાનક ફેરફાર થતા ચૂંટણી પહેલા અનેક અટકળો શરૂ થઈ ગઈ છે. ચૂંટણી પહેલા સંઘે ગુજરાતમાં પ્રાંતીય બેઠક બોલાવી છે, જેમાં ભાજપ સરકાર અને સંગઠનની કામગીરીની પણ સમીક્ષા કરવામાં આવશે.
ભાગવત 28 ઓગસ્ટે અમદાવાદ આવશે જ્યાં સંઘ, ભાજપ, વીએચપી, બજરંગ દળ સહિત અનેક હિન્દુ સંગઠનોના નેતાઓ તેમને મળશે. આ સમયગાળા દરમિયાન રાષ્ટ્રીય મુસ્લિમ મંચના નેતાઓ પણ ભાગવતને મળશે. ભાગવત 29 ઓગસ્ટના રોજ સુરતની મુલાકાતે આવશે. આ દરમિયાન સંઘના સરકારવાહ દત્તાત્રેય હૌસબોલે સહિત સંઘ પરિવારના અન્ય નેતાઓ ગુજરાતની મુલાકાત લેશે. સંઘના વડા મુખ્યમંત્રી વિજય રૂપાણી અને ભાજપ પ્રમુખ સી.આર.પાટીલ સાથે જુદી મુલાકાત કરશે. .

Leaders of the National Muslim Forum will also meet Bhagwat during this period. Bhagwat will visit Surat on August 29. Meanwhile, other leaders of the Sangh Parivar, including Sangh Dattatreya Houseball, will visit Gujarat. The union chief will have separate meetings with Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and BJP president CR Patil.
